Australian Fashion Week - Tina Kalivas

Sydney Australia, 1st May
Designer Tina Kalivas studied fashion but her great knowledge and experience that has contributed to her exquisite ultra modern aesthetic are influenced by her days when she worked as a seamstress and pattern cutter for Alexander Mc Queen for a time and her experience with theatre costume from working for premiere costume house Angels and Bermans.
Tina's collection at Fashion Week Sydney 07 shows in abundance the matue couturing techniques she masterfully uses to contour and slimline and exentuate features of the female body, but parallel to this is the strong infra apparel detailing and cut that makes her line so appealing and dare i say 'sexy'
I love her design sense and the collection so im starting off my fashion week reportage on her as i think her range is relevant to the world stage.
infra apparel aspects shape the body, the finishing on the bottom of the dress is
a signature to this collection
ultra moden looks that look strong but feminine, 2nd image hints her modern draping technique
