It was cool to see what phones were on sale in america. It's definitly scary. They really do not have the same wide selection as in europe. And if your operator does not have it, you can not buy it at all! Nokia is not strong at all in the usa.

After the party jean phillip and i went running around the city checking out all the halloween freaks. There were parties everywhere! Butterflies, bees, kings, queens, jokers, skeletons, everything you can imagine! Halloween in new york is the best but you never know who is really missing a leg or not! We ran into CBGB's to see a cool exhibition of photos and drawings. It was a fun night and i wish i had dressed up in costume!

Tapio throws me a party

I finally met tapio in person in new york. Tapio has been working in the mobile industry forever. He's a legend. He was in new york same time as me and we talked about strategies and clients that could be good for 360fashion. He organized a beautiful party for me and invited a lot of important industry professionals who all came to meet me. The best part was all the women in mobility that showed up! It was great not to be the only one for once! I made a lot of great contacts and learned an incredible amount about the usa mobile industry. I am really grateful to tapio for his time and attention. He invited a lot of french professionals. This is the only pic i snapped of massimo and his friend who works for the new york times.

For some unknown reason, suddenly i could no longer post to my blog. Now i am back on euro soil and i will play catch up. After dinner on friday with dilip from hp, i met up in the financil district with jean phillip and went to a party. Even though halloween was on sunday, partying for it starts on friday in new york. In order to disguise that i did not have a costume, i said i was dressed up as a model :-). Jean philip had never been to ground zero and i have to admit me either since i was in sept 11th. There was a big black cross marking the graves of all who died and a big pit. Not much to say about it. Here is jean philip in front of the gate.

Celebration Dinner

In celebration, and because i was locked out of my friend's house, jazzy and i went to eat chocolate deserts at a macrobiotic restaurant. So delicious. Then i sat in the lobby of a little hotel till my friend jp came back from the party. It was such a long day!
