ANINA DRESS UP allows the user to read insider fashion news from the experts at 360Fashion and provides networking opportunities and news about the designers featured in the game.

The primary goal of the application is to give local fashion brands global visibility in the palm of clients’ hands, and lead to new talent discovery for buyers and journalists. To create a game geared toward the fashionable, from the insiders’ global perspective.

Participating designers are London’s, ELEYKISHIMOTO, New York’s Chesley McLaren, Holland’s Jolina Jolink, Daryl van Wouw, BLUEBLOOD, Jan Taminiau, DFF’s Conny Groenewegen, China’s Zebra Woods accessories, and Belgian designer Anja Austa.  Zebra Woods and Anja Austa have both designed phone jewelry inspired by the game.

Its innovative user experience: it has an offline mode memory game where the players have to recreate the outfit shown to them under one minute. It has an offline free mode where players can mix and match their own outfits in their own time, with an online component for downloading new outfits to anina’s closet. When the player has finished making their own outfit combination in the phone, they can send the data via GPRS to an online gallery. In the online gallery, the public can vote and comment on the outfits.

Microsoft adds Adobe's Flash Lite SOFTWARE USED IN MOBILE DEVICES

Eager to become a major player in the wireless market, Adobe Systems took another step in that direction Monday when it announced that Microsoft's Windows mobile phones will use Adobe's Flash Lite and Adobe Reader LE document software.

Having Microsoft use the Reader and Flash Lite systems will let users of Windows mobile software view Adobe's popular PDF documents as well as videos and animation. It also gives a boost to Adobe's plans to make Flash Lite as widely used on mobile devices as its Flash software is in personal computers.

"It's another step in our goal of achieving ubiquity of Flash within the mobile domain," said Anup Murarka, director of technical marketing for mobile devices at San Jose-based Adobe.

Of the top 20 mobile phone manufacturers, 18 - including Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson - already use Flash Lite in their devices, according to Adobe executives. And Flash Lite's use is growing.

Shipments of cell phones, video games and other mobile devices containing Flash Lite were 150 percent greater in 2007 compared to 2006, the company said. Flash Lite now is used in more than 500 million mobile gadgets.

Still, Adobe's goal is to get Flash Lite into 1 billion phones by 2010 and having Microsoft use the software should help.

今天，我终于安装了久闻大名的Firefox插件——Tor，有了它，我就可以随意浏览任何被GFW屏蔽的网站，真是太棒了。本着互联网的共享精神，我做了一个精简的教材并佩戴了下载链接分享给各位，希望大家喜欢。如果你已经用了Tor，那么恭喜，你可以不必费心往下看了:-)

首先，你需要下载并使用Firefox，然后，请下载并安装"Vidalia and Tor Bundle 0.1.1.23"，安装好之后，你会在电脑右下角的任务栏看到Tor和Proxy两个小图标。右键点击Tor的图标，并选中“启动”，然后Tor就开始工作了；然后请配置一下Tor，打开配置界面并勾选“运行Vidalia时运行Tor”，这样今后每次电脑启动就会自动启动Tor。这是一种点对点的代理模式，基本上Tor用户的电脑也会成为一个转发被屏蔽网站内容的节点，所以国外的很多用户的电脑都有可能成为你的“帮手”；理论上说，这是一种终极解决方案，一劳永逸！
到这里还没完全结束，因为Tor一直运行会导致你浏览本来OK的网站也会很慢，所以我们需要频繁地开启或者关闭Tor，这个工作可以由一个叫做Torbutton的Firefox插件解决，请下载并安装！

How to browse the blocked website?

Today, I finish the intallation and configuration of famous auto-proxy software - Tor...It's actually a peer to peer proxy service, every user could be the transport station for blocked contents (You need a Firefox Browser first). So theoretically, it's like a final solution for browsing the bloced websites.

Here is the way:  Download and install "Vidalia and Tor Bundle 0.1.1.23" first, then you'll see two buttons in your computer's task banner, one is Tor, and the other one is Proxy.

Enable the Tor and open the configuration interface, then enable the automatically running with Vidalia function.

Then you'll find it's a little be slow for every website because you are using proxy now. So I highly recommend  you install a Firefox plug-in: Torbutton.

Then you can see the "Tor Disabled" or "Tor Enabled" button on the right bottom of firefox. That's the open/close button for Tor, so you can just close the Tor when you are surfing some un-blocked website to enjoy a faster speed and open the Tor for blocked website with an acceptable slow speed.

By the way, there's an IE Tab plug-in for firefox browser:  IE Teb for Firefox.xpi, with this you can browse "IE only website" on Firefox, cool, isn't it?

Video games remain largely a male-dominated pastime, but women account for two-thirds of the growing number of people who are playing online games, according to Nielsen Interactive Entertainment's third annual Active Gamer Benchmark Study.

Nielsen's extensive survey of demographic, age and gender trends in the video game space found that as of August, about 117 million people in the U.S. qualified as "active gamers," meaning they spend at least one hour per week on a gaming device. That's up from 112 million last year. Of the active gamers, 56% play games online, and 64% of those online players are women, according to the study.

Paulo Coelho (seminal author of books like, “The Alchemist” and “Veronika Decides to Die”) gave a great, compelling keynote at DLD, which for me, was one of the highlights. The man simply oozes charisma and wisdom.

Unlike Martha, he’d thought about his audience and gave a speech that we would find both relevant and interesting.

His main theme was that copyright is a lost battle and that we should accept that and live with the consequences in the new world. Moreover, this isn’t something we should grieve over and regret, but that all content creators could use this to our advantage.

He doesn’t just pay lip service to this sentiment, but has used the philosophy very astutely to create considerable commercial advantage for himself (and his publishers).
