Some patterns and ornaments on the buildings of the Forbidden City Buildings. The green, blue, and gold are truely beautiful together reminding me of lapus lazuli, malachite, and gold nugget.
The dragon represents power, the number 9 is longevity, and the Emperor had 1 wife / 100 comcubines, and the forbidden city has 9999.5 rooms. Why 0.5? Because God in Heaven had 1000, and the emperor was only a half step less than God in Heaven.

Today i had the morning off and i was invited by matteo who contacted me through a small world, to go with his company to the Forbidden City.
It's 3 hours we are waiting and everyone is so tired, but that's fashion week anywhere in the world. You can only grab sleep when you can and go through the fire. About this far in everyone starts getting sick and cranky. Agents have to come with us, not only i think, to make sure we know when to go and communicate to us what's going on, but to keep us from killing anyone :-)
You can get really snappy with not enough food, water, sleep, etc.
I had a 360Fashion Meeting after with a new potential member who was in China for one day and i kept having to send sms to him until finally he came to the Beijing Hotel to meet me. We finally started our meeting at midnight when the casting finished. It went well and i really like the concept of his new italian brand. On my way home i realized that another model took my house key and i was locked outside the building. Thank goodness i had my phone, it had credit, and i had the number of my poor roommate Ashley. I felt so bad i had to call and wake her up to kick our other roommate out of bed and come down to open the door. I can only imagine the sleepy conversation that went on. She came down though and then slept her way up into the elevator. Finally in bed at 4am and all of us back up for 6am. fashion Week is a killer anywhere in the world let of tell you.

It's 8:30pm and we are waiting for the casting to begin. . .
On our way to a casting and it's so late at night. As we drive through the streets my roommate sees a new light display of a rainbow! Wow! Look at the reflection in the car window! We drove under the rainbow.
