Mobile and Tasteless- is this what people in tech think is fashion<br />
 ?

(my friend just sent me and i totally agree. At least in fashion and art it's combined in an installation, there is a context like a background, and it must be very hard for the women standing naked with all the men trying not to look. . .)

Hi Anina, My friend just alerted me about what's going on at CEBIT. Check out how they're bringing the world of fashion into mobile technology... I think using body art to sell mobile phones in this way is completely tasteless...

Where were the naked paint male bodies ?
Did they forget one half of the population that could buy a mobile phone ?
(just kidding)

This is art? Well I'm sure in any other aspect it would be considered art, but when it comes to mobile tech you don't need a naked model to capture attention. This is just great, now males will probably never take women in mobile tech seriously unless our phones are pasted to our tata's in some colorful naked art-form.

Look at the model on the left, she looks TOTALLY bored.

And look how the strap holding the mobile phone is cutting into the arm of the model on the right... horrible.

No attempt to integrate the "body arty" with the product.

Theres a lot of advertising money wasted.

just for the record...i would never do this. why did they not employ varuschka? she is a model famous for this type of body painting work!

Wow, they have to be brave to be able to do that. I'm certain no one's looking at the mobile phones though.

This has been going on as long as there have been trade shows. CES(?) has now introduced some rules on how much nudity is allowed...interesting to see what the result will be... (and no, I don't think taste will actually enter the scene)
